After lunch we went to Carmel Beach, oh my so gorgeous... blue water and white sand.
"A" went down into the freezy cold water to bring up some water so that we could have wet sand to sculpt with. "A" talked us into digging a deep hole, she stepped in and we burried her up to her neck. SO MUCH FUN!!
"K" after a while got brave enough to go to the water too. She was running away from the waves and was having a blast for quite a long time. BUT, eventually a wave caught up to her, she tried to turn to run, but the wave got the best of her. She lost her balance when the wave came in and fell over. She was devistated. Freezing cold... we stripped her down and put Mom's sweater on her to keep her warm. She wasn't upset for too long and even now says that was the funnest part of the vacation.
